I've met so many people who see the United States as nothing more than a country full of arrogant, uneducated, money-hungry capitalists. What I find interesting is that most who have an opinion about the U.S. have never even set foot in the country nor spoken to an American citizen. So this episode is an attempt to put things in perspective.

We were out in the streets of Atlanta recording content for our YouTube channel the other day. And what we thought was going to be a 5-minute interview ended up being an hour-long conversation with a really cool guy named Kairo from the New York & New Jersey area. The video for YouTube isn't finished yet, but I thought you'd enjoy listening to Kairo's accent, dialect, stories, and opinions in the meantime.

Beach, bitch, sheet, and shit are 4 words that many learners of English struggle to pronounce. Many of my students have told me that they sound exactly the same. But after talking with some of the community members, I ended up coming up with a simple exercise that helped them to hear the difference in pronunciation of these words.
