“Flying Kangaroos in the West” is a new book by local Perth author Tony McGrath that chronicle’s the history of Qantas and TAA in Western Australia on the eve of the Qantas Airways Centenary in 2020.  

WA has been well served by these two world class international and interstate airlines since the 1930’s-1940’s, and the book provides a detailed overview of their histories in Western Australia since the beginning.

Tony joined us in the studio to talk about his new book and we invited listeners to call in with their aviation memories.
