It's episode 301 and Taylor Swift is now a filmmaker. Also, Wonder Woman 3 is cancelled, for now. We can confirm Mike Flanagan is making Dark Tower and A Very Backstreet Holiday has been cancelled.

MLB free agency has really heated up but we're more focused on the World Cup which has seen some big teams go home early as well as a surprise benching. We then turn to the conference championships in college and the final playoff matchups. We finish with the latest week in the NFL and its key injuries.

On Episode 299 it seems like entertainment news has slowed but we do have some strange trailers to discuss including one for The Mean One, a violent Grinch parody, which we compare to the upcoming Winnie the Pooh horror movie. There's also a new Night at the Museum but it's not what we want.

It's episode 299 and the US soccer team is in the round of 16. Can we beat the Dutch on Saturday? We then have a couple quick updates on college basketball, baseball, and hockey before covering football. In college football we finally has another undefeated team go down but can Ohio St get back in the top 4. In its place is USC who has to win this weekend to keep that spot. In the NFL a lot happened but not really.

On Episode 298 we discuss Bob Iger's return to Disney and what that means for the future of Disney+ as well as Disneyland. There's also news of an Escape from New York remake as well as news of Steven Spielberg's next project. There's also streaming series on the way featuring Spider-Man side characters as well as a mysterious one directed by Quentin Tarantino.

Will USC be able to get their way into that top 4? Another week in the NFL happened and it wasn't all that exciting but we're one week closer to the playoffs.
