While running in near 100 degree weather this weekend, I ran past a young man who was taking a nap and was obviously down on his luck. I knew there was a store about a mile away that I could get him a drink and meal, but my initial thought was, "but that's too far." Then I thought about how many people have gone "too far" to help me and it changed my perspective.
