Last year I started to learn how to pick locks - legally.  Through that learning process I've taken a few lessons from lockpicking into my personal and professional life.

Lockpicking golden rules: Never pick a lock you don't own or have permission to pick.  Don't pick a lock that is in use and you rely on.

Ernie of Sesame Street fame may have had it right about his rubber duckie, but he should have taken his duck to work as well.

In today's episode we talk about a concept related to helping coders find issues with their code that can be applied to all types of interactions.

Recently I had to create a script and set of slides to show my presentation style for a potential employer.  For the past 17 years I've created content for a company that now owns all of that work, so I delved into my personal experience and told a story about Dirty Charlie the plumber.  This is the off the cuff version - I'm working on how to script podcasts next.
