Being perceived is the most prevalent thing on my mind. All. The. Time. Today I bring on my first guest Daphne, who is one of my closest friends, to talk about some of the struggles teenage girls face when challenged by modern societies demanding beauty standards, and how different social media platforms affected our insecurities and damaged our self perception.
TW: In this episode we go into detail about eating disorders, mental health, and blood/gore. If any of these topics make you uncomfortable, please feel free to listen to our other episodes, otherwise, we'll see you next Friday!

Happy friday! Today Maia and I discuss our experiences with anxiety and extreme stress symptoms. Then, we touch on some advice for dealing with anxiety and stress, including how to deal with comparing yourself with other people grade wise, and finding ways to identify your anxious thoughts so they are easier to manage. We definitely feel that this topic is not talked about enough, so we hope that if any of these feelings discussed in the episode feel familiar, this episode reassures you aren't alone, and maybe some of the advice we give you are able to carry with you.

Happy pride month. I felt a fitting way to celebrate was to interview Maia on her transition, and her experiences as a transgender woman! We cover a wide range of topics, from first questioning her gender and sexuality to the extensively difficult process that trans people, specifically trans youth, face when accessing medical methods of transitioning. We cover topics that maybe you've been too afraid to ask.
