Toonhounds! Rock Rock On!!

Howdy toonfans! This week we watched two movies about generational trauma, identity and acceptance. They also both happened to be on Netflix, so that's what we're saying the topic of the show is!

KPop Demon Hunters and Nimona are getting the treatment this week, and, spoilers, we loved them both.

Ahoy, Toonfans! Sometimes over on the RLS Toonhound we like to do things a little differently, and seeing as how our two topics today — Treasure Planet & Titan A.E — are essentially the same movie, we decided to put them both through their paces.

This week on toonhounds we're quarter circle punching our way into your earholes with an episode on fighting games. Can you listen to it right now? Shoryuken.

Starting off, we watched Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie, a film about unrequited love. Then we talk a bunch about the concept of hatred, leaving things in the past, and the idea that your likes and dislikes don't and shouldn't impact your self-worth as a human, which I'm sure has nothing to do with the movie we'd just watched.

Then we watched Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion's Revenge, a movie that made us want to become cage fighters.

Howdy, you dirty rats. This week on Toonhounds we're cooking up something real good in the kitchen of your ears, and talking about two diametrically opposed films about our favourite rodents.

We watched Ratatoing, a movie about food being disgusting and that theft is okay, and Ratatouille, a movie that's actually good.

This week we're throwing a quick ball and grabbing your attention with a 4x catch rate modifier at the start of the encounter, and watching two episodes of Pokémon! We watched two of the first episodes (like picking starters? Work with me on this one), the pilots of Indigo League and Horizons.
