Tooth Be Told: The University of Alberta School of Dentistry Student Podcast

Today's episode is the first of a two part series on dental residency programs! Join us as we speak with recent DDS2021 grads and University of Alberta GPR program residents, Patrick Kuny and Reid Boulet. We talk about what a GPR is, the benefits of completing a residency and what a day in the life of a GPR resident looks like!

For this episode, we speak to our very own Lou-ann (VP Dentistry) and Dominic (VP Dental Hygiene) about the Dental Students' Association. They are both excited to share what's to come for this year!

In our very first episode, we learn about why SHINE came to be and what to expect for the upcoming year by talking to Janice Choi and Jonathan Le. We also spoke with Adam McCourt about the Shine Golf Tournament, which is only a few weeks away!

A short little introduction to SPEA, as well as why this podcast came to be! We meet with the SPEA committee members to hear a little about their understanding of professionalism and we also detail what is in store for SPEA and the podcast in the upcoming year.
