1. How some people will be celebrating Raya away from home. This is coming from TikTok user @cikguding who asked people to share their reasons for not returning home.

2. A recently released annual survey by ISEAS-Yusof Ishak Institute has found that elites in Southeast Asia have a relatively low level of concern for the political crisis in Myanmar.

3. The issue of academic fraud, after Malaysian Academic Movement, or Gerak called for a a collective effort involving educators, university leaders, and the government to uphold academic excellence and denounce fraudulent practices.

4. Asean+3 Macroeconomic Research Office has announced that Malaysia might be on its way to becoming a high-income nation.

5. Our top story: The Ministry of Communications is looking into enacting a Music Act to ensure that the arts will have their own legislation to protect the welfare of musicians.
