In Episode 74 Top 5 Film discusses "Noah" directed by Darren Aronofsky with Badass Digest news editor and film critic Evan Saathoff who goes by the pseudonym @Sam_Strange on Twitter. The spoiler heavy conversations digs into both the fantasy and biblical elements presented in "Noah" along with addressing liberties Aronofsky took with a beloved tale. The Top 5 List in Ep.74 centers on Top 5 Movies that we felt Question our Humanity or Right to Rule the Earth.

There has been a whole lot of buzz circulating around "The Raid 2" since its Sundance premiere earlier this year and Top 5 Film felt it necessary to address it with one of our .5 episodes. If you are wondering what the hell a .5 episode is, it is a small bite size episode versus our longer 60 to 90 minute episodes. These episodes generally do not include a Top 5 List and tend to house small reviews of a single film or a discussion of a hot topic. Episode 73.5 focuses in on "The Raid 2" and whether it A., lives up to the hype it earned out of Sundance, and B., how it measures up to the predecessor also written and directed by Gareth Evans.

Wes Anderson's eighth feature film "The Grand Budapest Hotel" is now in theaters and Top 5 Film decided to dedicate an episode to it's splendor. We've brought back film fanatic and fellow Anderson fan Brian Saur aka @bobfreelander of Rupert Pupkin Speaks to help us discuss Wes Anderson and his latest film. Pairing with our review of "The Grand Budapest Hotel" we talk our Top 5 On-Screen Duos.

Old man action movies have been revived following Liam Neeson showing off his age and action skill set at the prime age of 54 in 2008's "Taken." Now with more and more older actors trying their hand in the art of geriatric action, we decided to spend an episode discussing it. In order to properly discuss Dad-Core action movies we've brought on the knowledgeable Kevin Carr of Fat Guys at the Movies and Film School Rejects. Episode 72 includes reviews of "3 Days to Kill" and "Non-Stop" along with an accompanying Top 5 Old Man Action Protagonists list.

In Episode 71, Top 5 Film welcomes back Drew McWeeny of HitFix on to the show to talk the recent remake of Paul Verhoeven's iconic 1987 scifi "RoboCop." The 2014 update is directed by Jose Padilha, written by Joshua Zetumer, and stars Joel Kinnaman as the cyborgentic cop. Despite Hollywood having tunnel vision for remakes, we at Top 5 Film feel the act is getting a little tired so we decided to have a little fun with our Top 5 list and do a Top 5 Alternate Titles for "RoboCop" (2014).

Everything is awesome! The LEGO Movie is out and to discuss all the various blocks involved in its construction we asked film critic and co-founder of One of Us.net Brian Salisbury to join our team. In connection with The LEGO Movie our Top 5 Film list centers around Top 5 World Building movies.

The month of November whizzed right by Top 5 Film and we never released an episode, so to make up for it we've put together a catch-up episode. Our November Catch-Up includes AFI FEST 2013, "Thor: The Dark World," "Dallas Buyers Club," "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire," and also a discussion on the untimely and tragic death of Paul Walker.

Ridley Scott and Cormac McCarthy made a movie together called "The Counselor" and Top 5 Film hoped it was going to be a masterpiece, it isn't and we brought on Senior Editor of Very Aware and contributing writer of Reel Vixen Courtney Howard to discuss why the film failed. To coincide with weird sex act described in "The Counselor" we decided to make our Top 5 list about exactly that, weird sex acts in cinema. Enjoy!
