Last week the largest struggle for most managers it seemed was finding enough active goalies to hit the 3 goalie start minimum. In all there was an astonishing 5 teams who did not meet minimum goalie starts last week surrendering all 4 categories. Some managers staved off the 4 losses by just being active and diligent on the WW with a total of 12 transactions involving goalies last week. It's your boy Vikas filling in for Joe and I’m here to do the weekly recap in however long it takes. Despite all the ups and downs a number of managers pulled off some impressive CRUSHes last week as we wrapped up 2021 with some shocking matchups - Here we go!

I don't want to talk about it, you don't want to listen to it, but it wouldn't be a recap if we all didn't have to relive the horrible week that just happened. This week the hockey gods took a back seat to the covid gods and we all get to let go of the steering wheel and see where this vehicle takes us. I'm sure there's a few managers that don't want to listen to details of how many games their team missed last week or be remindind of what players on their team have tested positive - so lets rub some salt on some fresh wounds!

This week we flip the script and cover some of the biggest losing streaks in the league as we approach the mid-way mark of the 2021-22 season! This one's in honour of all the managers giving it their best but just not cutting it. It's a long way to the top if you wanna rock 'n roll but the only rocking and rolling these teams are doing is rocking the L's and rolling downhill.

Last week the Dallas stars finally found themselves hitting their stride and are now tied for a franchise record 7 consecutive wins after their victory over Arizona. The NYR took their 6th consecutive win on Saturday against the Blackhawks, and the Minnesota Wild find themselves on a 6 game winning streak as well after upsetting the Leafs in a shootout on Saturday. This week we're going full Chipotle and exploring the hottest streaks in our league. In case the Chipotle reference was too obscure, yes, I did just make a shit joke.

Phooowee what a week that was! With last weeks strange schedule due to American Thanksgiving managers had to make some tough decisions to stay alive in this contest. For some managers those tough decisions helped them dodge a bullet, while others weren't so fortunate and ended up sleeping with the fishes. It's easy for me to run my mouth because hindsight is 20/20 so lets explore last weeks biggest mistakes! I wouldn't be caught dead holding out on this weekly review any longer so here we go!

We start this weeks review with some amazing news. Auston Matthews will  finally be shaving off his atrocious moustache for Movember. Matthews  surpassed his fundraising target of $134k this week and will finally  shave his upper lip pubes in support of men's health and cancer  research. Unfortunately however this news did not help him put a single  puck past Tristan Jarry last week.

Another week in the books, and we now find ourselves 1/4 of the way through the 21-22 season. This week we’re taking a look at the closest matchups of last week, the nail biters, the narrow victories, the heartbreaks, the upsets.

Here we are 3 weeks in to the season and we are starting to see our  standings gain some definition as the gap between first and last starts  to widen. Last weeks matchups were an absolute rollercoaster of emotions  and I think it's safe to say this season is shaping up to be an  interesting one with some wild and unexpected results.
