Former Bidvest Wits midfielder Papy Faty collapsed and died during a match in Swaziland last week. Wits released him because of a heart condition a couple of year ago but he defied doctors and continued playing after signing a short contract with Swazi team Malanti Chiefs but 28-year-old sadly passed away during a game between Malanti Chiefs and Green Mamba. We also spoke to Precious McKenzie who is a South African-born former weightlifter who won 4 gold medals representing both England and New Zealand as he was not eligible to represent South Africa because he was coloured. We also spoke to Author Dewald Steyn about South Africa’s first black Olympians Jan Mashiane and Len Taunyane who both took part in the 1904 Olympic Games.
