Welcome back Esther Curiel ! And welcome Ian Zhang for the first time to Top Voices! It was great to talk to these professionals to find out about the latest and greatest of content management and AI enablement in a globally leading pharmaceutical company.
Esther Curiel, Globalization Manager, Global Diagnostics at Zoetis, shed more light on how a large organization was embracing change to integrate multilingual, multimodal and multimarket workflows into product supply chains. This requires the implementation of new or upgraded toolsets to adapt practices according to the path and pace of transformation. The ultimate goal remains the creation of value for stakeholders, shareholders and customers. Yet, it may take new and different forms.
Ian Zhang, Technical Project Manager at Zoetis, shared more details on the impact of AI on ecosystems and on the people who are supported by them. Obviously, the role of data - and specifically language data - is crucial to ensure the real adoption of AI for a purpose, and not only its use to improve some vanity metrics. While AI enablement is a human project, it must be based on a balance between AI-driven automation and human-led augmentation. Hence, the importance of business and technology alignment which is at the core of how Esther and Ian work together.
