As election season was really gearing up, the queer community was confronted with a queer white democratic candidate, and was also required to look intrinsically at our group values in the face of his candidacy. https://www.instagram.com/gayvoicepod/ (@gayvoicepod) was kind enough to shed some light on the non-binary POC opinion about https://www.instagram.com/explore/tags/petebuttigieg/ (#petebuttigieg) and by extension, how racism in the queer community is still alive and well today. I can’t be more thankful to have such a time of education and discussion. Sometimes, my white ass just needs to hear it. All y’all white asses out there, go ahead and tune in to stay educated.
