Chp. 6 verses 1 - 5: A lecture on understanding the meaning and instruction of the Shema.

Chp.3 verses 23 - 25: Introduction, Moshe realizing that he is about to die and that the people have not prayed to God for him, he offers his own prayers to God in the hope that God will allow him to enter the land of Israel.

368 Chp. 1 verses 2 - 5: On the 1st day of the 40th year in the 11th month Moshe began to expound on the Torah. This was after the defeat of Sichon an Og. He expounded on the Torah in all 70 languages.

Chp. 1 verses 27 - 45: Moshe continues with the story of the spies and the people's reaction. God tells them not to go up to the mountain but they go anyways and they are soundly defeated. they are sentenced to another 38 years in the desert. However, in His mercy God allows them to stay in Kadesh for 19 years before they have to travel.

Chp. 1 verses 1 & 2: Introduction, Moshe speaks to ALL the people 36 days before his death. He begins with a veiled rebuke of the misdeeds that the people made in these places.

Chp. 2 verses 25 - 37: Moshe describes the conquest of the territory that belonged to Sechon. Chp. 3 verses 1 - 22: Continues with the conquest of the territory of Og.

369 Chp. 1 verses 6 - 15: Moshe continues his recollections of their travel and travails in the desert during the 40 years. He makes mention of the request by the people for judges and his appointment of such.

Chp, 2 verses 1 - 24: Moshe reviews their journey and contact with the descendants of Esau, and the two sons of Lot, Moav and Amon.

370 Chp. 1 verses 16 - 26: Moshe discusses the Judges that he appointed and their obligation to Judge honestly. He then goes on to mention the spies.
