Two pesukim in this Parsha give us insightful lessons of how to judge, and when necessary, rebuke, in a way that brings the other closer to us.

The beauty and value of waiting and working for something is a message of Iyar and one we should share with our children.

In order to affect change in others, we need to change ourselves first.

"V'chai Bahem" means to use your life energy, and be moser nefesh for the mitzvos. We do this today by giving of our energy, time, and selves to our families.

Timing is everything when it comes to correcting or directing our children.
