Welcome to a special edition of TorgyTalk!!! This episode was recorded at our good friend's lake house Jake and (soon to be) Kacey Wember! We had a fun filled weekend, boating, fishing, eating and drinking. Emphasis on the drinking. We ate like kings and queens all weekend, steaks, walleye, shakshuka, and some mediocre stuffed clams. This episode we talked about all the events that occurred all weekend, including a visit from some Jehovah's witnesses. This was such a fun episode to record with our bestest of friends we hope you have as good of a time listening as we did recording it. We will see you next week with another episode! Thanks for tuning in!

Welcome back to another episode of TorgyTalk! This week we have a returning guest, Joseph Christopher! Since his last time on the show Joseph has had 2 appearances at Zanies Old Town on the "Super Six" showcase, which we talk about in depth during this episode. Joseph also recently headlined Jon's hometown show "Sunnyside Up Comedy" at Sunnyside Tavern in Johnsburg. We discuss not only performing in comedy shows but also producing them. Joseph gives some insight on how important it is to really grab that audience's attention in the first moments you're on stage. It was really good to catch up with our good friend of the podcast. We hope you enjoy this episode and we will see you next week with a VERY SPECIAL episode! Thanks!

This week's guest is Denise Medina! Its always a pleasure to have suburb based comedians on the show! Denise has been doing stand up comedy for about 10 years now and also has done her fair share of producing excellent shows. Her newest showcase is held at the Round Lake Beach Cultural and Civic Center where she is planning on putting great lineups of both local and nationwide comedians. Denise also shares her amazing experience of recently doing a Roast Battle at The Comedy Store in LA. Listen to the entire episode to hear who she was lucky enough to have on as judges. Welcome back everyone! This week's guest is our very first touring comedian Ryan O'Flanagan! Ryan has been headlining clubs all over the country and Jon met him at his Zanie's headlining debut back in April! We talked about a lot in this episode including his fan favorite "excited tourist" videos where he goes into a new city mispronouncing billboards and pointing out how objects are a hundred feet big. Ryan also dives into some HILARIOUS stories from his time on the road. We were very happy and lucky to have a guest like Ryan O'Flanagan on this week and we will probably have him on again in the future! We hope you enjoy this episode as much as we did! Thanks for tuning in for another episode of TorgyTalk!
Disclaimer: We had somewhat of an "oopsie daisy" with the audio recording but it still sounds good! Thanks for understanding!

Welcome back to TorgyTalk with another amazing guest! This week we are joined virtually from the NBC Tower in Chicago, Kevin Kellam! Kevin is a radio personality for multiple radio stations including Chicago's alternative rock station Q101. He is also a very funny Chicago comic that you can see all over the city! We had him on this week to promote his new comedy special taping "Kevin and Hell" LIVE at Lincoln Hall on August 9th at 9:00pm! This is one fun episode! Kevin cuts away and gives us a little taste of what recording "live to tape" radio breaks are like. He has one hell of a radio voice! Kevin gives some insight on setting realistic goals for yourself and tells us a HILARIOUS story about a show he did in northern Wisconsin. DO NOT MISS the chance to see his special taping "Kevin and Hell" LIVE at Lincoln Hall August 9th in Chicago! This was one of our favorite episodes we have done so far and we hope you all enjoy it as much as we did! Thank you for tuning in and we will see you next week with another episode of TorgyTalk!

Welcome back to another week of TorgyTalk! We are nice and refreshed from the week off we took! This week Jon and Jack sit down with their good friend Chris Chagoya. Chris has been on TorgyTalk a few times and this one was the best one yet! In this episode we find out that Jack has NEVER been to a strip club, and neither has Jon's wife Cora (who makes a surprise entry). We called our old buddy Luis Ramirez to convince him to not quit stand up comedy. We also touch on how Jon is taking a slight step back from stand up to be a more attentive father. Chris gives Jon a warning that once kids get older they tend to say "my dad will beat up your dad". We all threw back a few drinks during this episode and good lord it was one hell of a talk! We hope you enjoy this episode of TorgyTalk and we will see you next week!
