This week we welcome Danny Hamel to the podcast! Danny is a Chicago Comedian, and a self published author of his fictional tale "The Recipe Maker" available on Amazon for purchase! Danny had his first experience doing comedy at his high school talent show where he did 10 minutes on nothing but airplanes. After high school, Danny went on to attend college and became a TA. This week we are very lucky to have Jason Seiler joining us via video call! Jason is a full time artist, and comedian. He has quite the resume, opening for big acts such as Steve Byrne, Kevin Nealon, and Michael Rapaport. Jason shares his experience of his first time doing comedy, which is not your standard start! Jason is an amazing artist first and foremost. He has done work for huge magazines like TIME and more recently he does all the covers for MAD Magazine. Ladies and Gentleman, Mike Glab! Mike is coming up on his 1 year mark in comedy and has recently hit a big break through on Chicago Roast Battle. On this week's episode we discuss Mike's entrance into comedy and who his biggest influences are. He even brought us some awesome IPA's from Funkytown Brewery, brewed right here in Chicago. Mike was virtually blind at one point in his life and had some Lasik eye surgery. He almost raw dogged the procedure without and Valium. This week's guest is none only than Chicago comedy legend Vince Maranto. Vince had been doing comedy for 43 years in Chicago. He has worked with names like Tracy Morgan, Bob Odenkirk and even Norm MacDonald. Vince shares some amazing stories with us on what it was like coming up as a comic in the 80s and 90s. Starting back in 1982 Vince shares with us the pay scales that club comics would earn depending on experience. We were honored to have someone with such a resume sit down and share some fun stories and some comedy wisdom.
