Happy New Year and International Pat Cruise Week Torquay fans. Out with the old, in with the new. Guy Henderson and Richard Hughes have an early start for this week's first Yellow Army Pod of 2024 - and there is lots to discuss.

Torquay finished 2023 with two defeats - at Chelmsford City and at Plainmoor against Truro City - so there are the bones of those defeats to pick through.

We hear from Gary Johnson about those games and Saturday's visit of Eastbourne Borough, who Torquay beat 4-1 to start the good run in November and the start of December.

And the Gaffer gives us an update on the player injuries that have caused him so many problems this season. The latest one - Theo Williams' hamstring pull - meant the end of his loan spell at Torquay, and the Podders wonder who will play up front this weekend.
