This morning, we celebrated community at SONrise as we heard a testimony from Belinda Alexander, and witnessed the baptism of Lauren Correa.

This weekend we moved into part two of, "Faith of Our Fathers", as Pastor Brent presented us with further questions to ponder and respond to. As the world around us often seems to be out of control, we are reminded that God IS and ALWAYS has been in control. How do we respond? Are we listening to the world or are we looking for what to do from the Word of God?

Happy New Year SONrise! This weekend marks the first Sunday of 2021 and with it we began a new sermon series, "Faith of Our Fathers". We started with beautiful worship to our Heavenly Father, a few words from Pastor Scott Mathis, and a message from Pastor Brent. With some church history and some thought provoking questions on Why Are We Here? We delve further in walking into this new year asking big questions: "How do we glorify God?" and "How do we fulfill our purpose?"

As this year comes to a close and we begin a new year we are reminded that there is diversity within the body. Each with different gifts we bring to the table and share the same Lord.
