Torty the Mediterranean Tortoise was souvenired by a New Zealand serviceman from Salonika in 1916. Pvt. Stewart Little was in Greece as part of the Allied attempts to sure-up the Serbian Front WW1. Doing invaluable work as part of a medical team patching-up and treating recuperating troops fighting in Serbia. As part of this ANZAC Day 2024 podcast.  I’ll profile the forgotten  Serbian Front.
