Total Foolball

A first win for Almere City! Big wins for Feyenoord and PSV! And thoughts and prayers for Etienne Vaessen.

There were a lot of eventful matches this week, but there's really only one place to spend most of our time this week.

Can we keep up with all the games going on? We certainly can try! European action is underway and there sure were some fantastic games. Come reminisce about them with us!

We're rollin' through the break and talking about 2 big Dutch wins! Plus it's my way or the highway in tough games for Feyenoord and Ajax this week. But that doesn't mean that the rest of the teams don't have to show me what you got.

A barnstormer in Almere! A Heracles master class! Tons of goals for Feyenoord and PSV. And are Ajax about to implode? Find out on this week's episode!

A shorter fixture list but don't think that means it was any less exciting! Feyenoord back to winning ways at the expense of Almere City, a PEC win, and some European ties on the horizon. Plus, Mats Wieffer is good.

PSV are looking GOOD. Ajax, Feyenoord...not so much. Plus Heracles gets a win and a new pronunciation, Almere City learn about set pieces, and PEC Zwolle are hard to find.

The first week of Eredivisie action is in the books! Some of us are happy, some of us are upset, and some of us have their teams playing against each other for a place in the Champions League.

The last matches before the start of the season are in the books and all of our teams have serious narrative to contend with! In this episode we cover the Super Cup between PSV and Feyenoord, Ajax's final tune up disaster, and look ahead to the first Eredivisie weekend.

Will any of us actually be able to watch our teams?

Our first full episode! As our methodology for becoming diehards of a new league, we each decided to pick a team from the Big 3 and a newly promoted team to follow for the year.

Hear about the might Greek heroes of the league from Neil, dive into the stripes vs hoops debate with Ben, and learn about red and white color schemes with Alex. In this episode, we talk about which teams we will be using as our guides as we get deeper into the ol' Dutch Fandom.

What does any of the above mean? You'll just have to listen to find out.
