St Louis developer Alex Oliver says his new Wash Avenue food hall will feature 6 food vendors and two bars along with a pair of desert and snack vendors when it opens later this year. Oliver joined Megan Lynch and says the venue will, 'create an atmosphere where people want to gather. They can be social. They can get a variety of foods.' The Wash Ave Food Hall, located at 1122 Washington Ave., is scheduled to debut in October.

'St Paul, Pray for Us' is a new documentary film from Joe Parisi, exploring the history of a St Louis tradition, the St Paul sandwich. He joins Megan Lynch in-studio to talk about the folklore beg Parisi explains gthe Egg foo young patty on white bread with lettuce, tomato, pickle, onion and mayo. 'This was something that was born here, in the city,' of St Louis says Parisi. Kelley Hiatt with the St. Louis Film Office joins Sean Malone as a new movie, 'Love on the Hill' is set to begin shooting on, 'The Hill'. How do the state film tax incentives impact productions? Hiatt says an additional 2 productions are set to film in town later this summer, plus a documentary series is filming in St Louis currently as well as a docu-series featuring Chuck Berry's life.

KMOX's Michael Calhoun visits with Laurie Merriman, one of the Festus residents involved in a recall effort of members of the City Council. Several members of the Council voted against placing their own recall measures on an upcoming ballot. Merriman says the effort will continue. The controversy surrounds a proposed data center that residents objected to, but the council passed.

Sunday's chaos in Shrewsbury, along with teen takeovers elsewhere in the city and county, have raised a lot of questions about how the system handles kids who break the law. KMOX's Michael Calhoun sat down with a longtime former city prosecutor Rachel Smith to walk through how it actually works, and why.
