In today's podcast, Shawn Wells, a biochemist and a top supplement educator, public speaker and health coach together with Barton talks about the different struggles Shawn experienced throughout life - namely body issues, mindset, having an negative internal voice, suicide, much more and understanding how it is possible to be your own source of strength.
Shawn shared about how he overcame his suicidal tendencies and trauma from childhood and to become the great and inspiring man that he is today.
Throughout his life, there were countless moments where Shawn was having difficulty seeing the good in life, but him not giving up is what made all the difference.
He eventually struggled enough to realize how we can be our own coach and hero, to be your own strength, and help others find theirs.
Shawn reminds us that we have to take time to figure ourselves out and nourish ourselves past our insecurities and self-hate, fuel with self-love.
We have to have that driving force to see ourselves as our own project, our own priority. In that way, we allow others to take us how we see ourselves and empower them to see themselves to their fullest and be their own strength.
