Undoubtedly this is the most chaotic and unpredictable year of college football in recent memory. Ranked teams are dropping like flies and contenders are rising from the depths. Preseason favorites like Clemson, North Carolina and Ohio State have stumbled out of the gate. wtf Arkansas. Also we discuss if Oklahoma has implemented the Toyota "just in time" model for quarterback development. 

We still don't know much after week 2 except that Bama is still good and that this season is going to be very entertaining.  We dive into week 2 results and week 3 matchups and finish it all off by scatter shooting topics from around the sports world. 

Week 1 of the college football season is in the books. After the COVID year we are back to full stadiums and a full slate of games. Week 1 never disappoints with a collection of scrumptious in and out of conference matchups. But what did we learn? Well, everyone is beatable, except Alabama who just reloads. 

We're back for the 2021 season. We talk one time transfers, the wild college football offseason and the first week of games. We also introduce a new wrinkle into the show.

Unsurprisingly we digress immediately and start talking about the CFP and it's impact on college football and where we see college football heading. Only one more weekend of college football and CFP rankings stands between us and the knowledge of who are, without a doubt, in the most objective fashion the best four teams in college football.  Too bad this ain't a dream so wake the F up, it ain't going to be pretty but we will soon know what the CFP will look like. With only 2 CFP rankings left this season we break down Ohio State's current situation after the cancelation of the Michigan game.  We also attempt to sort out who has a path to the playoff, who controls their own destiny and who needs some (or a lot) of help. 

After our bye week we deep dive the first sets of college football playoff rankings. These rankings give us insight to how the committee is going to treat this year, to the benefit of some, and the dismay of others (BYU).  We also aim our extraordinary CFB intellects at the what-ifs of Ohio State's BIG TEN conference championship game eligibility as well as the extraordinary weight of the SEC and ACC championship games for the final CFP rankings. 

Many of the top teams across college football sit out the week largely due to COVID-19 issues. Without these teams active the CFP landscape remains relatively unchanged. But that doesn't mean there isn't still excitement and intrigue (looking at you Will Muschamp). We also dive into the NBA on the eve of the NBA draft and in the heat of NBA free agency. 

We break down what will assuredly be the most formative week for the final CFP ranks as Georgia and Notre Dame eat Ws.  The College football landscape begins to feel the weight of what we all figured was inevitable as COVID numbers skyrocket.
