At the end of June, Mackinac Island Ferry Company was purchased by Hoffman Family of Companies. In this process it became aware many boats needed major repairs. We headed to the island the first weekend of the Lilac Festival. Sadly the trip was not the same as I received news before getting to the island my dad suffered a stroke (he is doing well lots of PT ahead of him) so I was not quite all there. I truly just focused on time with my loved ones and barely took photos. But I share what we did and a few new things I saw including the updated Stonecliff Manor and Richard and Jane Manoogian Art Museum.
