Chris killed time while he was gone watching Guy Ritchie’s King Arthur: Legend of the Sword and playing the hybrid card and board game Ex Libris.  Solo : A Star Wars Story is in theatres and Chris and Darren have both seen it - spoiler alert - this is a full on review. We cover a lot of ground in this one, touching on a trio of TV shows (The Orvillle, The End of the F@#%ing World, and Black Mirror) and a trio of games (Otrio, Gloomhaven and Halcyon 6). Plus, Darren goes on a tear about the ultra-violoent Brawl in cell Block 99.

This week we look up (waaaay up) at Andre the Giant in the new biopic from HBO. Darren dabbles with Revisionist History (the podcast) and has some probing questions and theories about what Infinity War will mean for future Marvel movies. We look at a couple of newish games: the mobile quickie Meteorfall, and the grim followup to This War of Mine that is Frostpunk. Finally, we lighten up with memories of  some favorite Arcade games of the eighties.

As far as gems go it is pretty unpolished - hear the slight hum of the poor sound quality, the creaking of Chris’s chair, Darren rubbing his hands together way too close to the mic and other signs of two guys with microphones taking their first leap into the wonderful world of podcasting.  Or, if you don’t want to cringe along with us, come back next week when we will be back to new episodes which hopefully evidence some modicum of improvement from this early recording.----more----
