Another sexy read from Jayne Rylon

I have loved all the books in the Powertools/ Hotrods series'. This was the first one that had me nervous for it before I read it. I was worried how Jayne Rylon was going to spin the polyamorous scene if Amber was brought into the focus. I shouldn't have worried. No conflicts with Nola at all. In fact, this is the calmest of the books when it comes to sexuality. Yes, these two characters are part of the Hotrods world, but they are on the outer fringe. Both Amber and Gavyn are related to other Powertools or Hotrods. Amber is Nola's sister and Gavyn is Kayla's brother. We met Gavyn briefly in the last book. He was Barracuda's roommate in rehab. I was glad he was focused on because his character stuck with me from the last book. But just because this is a two person only relationship doesn't mean it doesn't fit in this series. It works so well, especially with the multi weddings at Kayla's spa. Not only do we get a great love story, we also get to see all of our favorite characters from both series'. Bonus!

Amber is at her type A personality best, as she is the planner for the weddings at the spa. So many details to look after, and her sister doesn't work with her anymore. The last thing she needs is a complication with a sexy lawyer who is not long out of rehab. But some things cannot be ignored, and Gavyn makes her look at the world a little differently. And he is drop dead beautiful. That helps.

Gavyn is very attracted to Amber. But he needs a plan to woo the dedicated to details beautiful woman. Maybe he can use some of the skills he learned in rehab. Plus, he would love for her to look at his business plan for a shop like the Hotrods, but for bikes.

When they get hot and heavy for one night, Gavyn makes a tragic mistake that nearly costs him everything. But Amber is blaming herself just as much. When she runs, things may be doomed. Can someone mess things up so badly there isn't a second chance? Or will true love not be denied? This one will tear you apart. You can see both sides of the argument and neither is more right. It is a tricky road these two characters have to travel, but will help from their friends, they just might make it.

If you have loved this series, you will love this book as well. Jayne Rylon just has a gift for writing a love story you just have to read.
