AMAZING final chapter of It's Kind of Personal series!

In the final book of the Itâs Kind of Personal series by Anna Brooks, we finally get Declanâs story! This is a standalone book, but I HIGHLY recommend reading the whole series first because it is amazing and because you get to see how everyone met and tie into each otherâs stories. Declan and Amy met and fell in love in high school. Declan went off to Coast Guard boot camp after graduation, leaving Amy behind until he got stationed and she could move with him. In the span of eight weeks, it all fell apart for Amy and Declan and he never really knew why. These two have a complicated past that I wonât get into so I donât spoil anything, but they meet again after seventeen years and old feelings come up. Declan wants so badly to understand why Amy broke his heart so many years ago, but she wonât tell him her true reason. She holds back from everyone because she feels she deserves to be isolated. An abusive relationship has made her feel like she isnât worth a thing. Can Declan and Amy get back what they lost and so much more? You just HAVE to read this book to find out! Itâs worth every moment spent reading it. I devoured this book in a matter of hours and am a bit sad to see this wonderful series end. I am a huge fan of Anna Brooksâ though and canât wait to see what she comes up with next! I give âGive me Thisâ five stars!

Wonderful second chance!

The love and challenges infused in Declan and Amie's story are emotional, heartbreaking and lovely. As I learned the secrets in their heartbreaks and the efforts made many years later to bring them together, I couldn't help but fall in love with them and hope they could work out their future. Declan's sister Meara held her anger for Amie for many years after their breakup proving her loyalty to her brother.

This story kept me intrigued and turning the pages to see how Amie overcame the tragedies in her life and yet never stopped loving Declan, His love never wavered despite the loss of their relationship. This was a satisfying conclusion to this wonderful series, yet could be read as a standalone.

I really enjoyed listening to this audio. Tom Jordan was a great narrator and probably the perfect one for this book. He embodied each character and brought this great story to life. Aubrey is a great author and I can't wait to read and listen to !it's of her books.

Merry Christmas, Henry is a classic little tale full of fantasy and mystique. Tom Jordan did an excellent job narrating the tale, lending the work an authenticity that really brought the story to life for me. I felt for the protagonist in his isolation and loneliness. The story culminates on Christmas Eve with in a delightful, fanciful ending you wont forget.

Merry Christmas Henry is a beautifully written short about love and devotion. Aubrey Wynne creates a character that's easy to fall in love with. Henry stole my heart and he still has it long after the story finished. The narrator did a great job as well. I do wish there was more of a difference between the voices of the two women at the beginning of the story, other than that well done!

Scorching Erotica of a tale that's been overdone

This erotic story of 29 yr-old lingerie designer, Jenna, & firefighter & soon-to-be counselor, Dean, is scorching sexually and zero romantically. They knew each other at the start of the story, so the hook up scenario is plausible. However, what the author used as proof that Dean wanted a relationship w/ Jenna beyond sex was nothing upon which to build a relationship. And Dean's possessiveness had no basis and comes into question later. Dean's presumptuous act later, that was supposedly based on his intuition of Jenna's hidden desires, was problematic for me, & Jenna's reaction was quite implausible for most mentally & emotionally well women, IMO.

This story is just a repeat. Sadly, this is yet another story w/ yet another sex club. Also Jenna is curvy, wears baggy clothes to hide her body, was teased as a child, and is uncomfortable w/ her body. So it's also yet another story of another curvy female who believes a hunk is outta her league & would never be interested in a woman w/ her body type. Thus, Dean's mission, thereby being a 3rd way that this story has been done, redone and overdone by other authors numerous times.

It's nice that the story has dual POV, and the narrator hits it outta the park, especially the lengthy spicy bits. Still, even with my likeness of spice and erotica, I was ready for it to be over once it was over & considered the sex scenes, especially the first one, too drawn out. It would've been better to break it up into more than one night, more than one moment. There needed to be a bit more focus on the relationship part of the story, at least a little. So, been-there-done-that with this one.

Good series

I really love this series. Cathryn Fox is a good writer - the characters are layered and smart, and the plots, while sometimes unrealistic, are at least not insulting to the reader. It's just good fun. The sex scenes are hot, if a little repetitive (not everyone has the same three-set process), but honestly, I'm hooked on this series and plan to read them all, as well as the dossier series. My one big complaint is why she bases these stories in Austin, when she doesn't seem to know anything about Austin. There are no former military bases nearby (there was, but it's an airport now), and in this book, it talks about the heroine, who is apparently fairly well-off, not having AC in her home. Um, no. That does not happen in Austin. Everyone has AC. Even poor people have it, because it's more important than freaking food, ok? I can understand why she doesn't want to name specific businesses or subdivisions, but the basics of life in Austin should at least be realistic. Ok, getting off my soapbox now. As you can tell, I'm pretty dang picky, so the fact that I still REALLY like these books should tell you something.

I can't stop reading this series!

Oh the men in this series are simply to die for and the women who steal their hearts are even more amazing. Luke and Emery are such a beautiful pair and watching both of them learn to trust one another was beautiful.

Loved it!

These books are just getting better and better. Each one filled with morals and emotion. This book was no different. All it takes is trust and maybe a second chance to get everything you've ever wanted out of life.

Good story

Great story. Interesting characters. Everyone deserves a second chance! I love the depth of characters. Good plot lines. Great author. Can't wait to read next in series.

Great loving but I wanted more details in plot.

The story was good, but I thought a little shallow, like it needed more fleshing out. And it just ended. The ending was appropriate and meshed nicely with their beginning, but there was no epilogue.

Always, Book one in the Two Hearts One Soul Duet, was my first book by London Saint James and it will NOT be my last. London does a fantastic job of making us fall head over heels for both Winter and Austin as a couple. This story is narrated by Tor Thom and Charley Ongel and they are also "New To Me" narrators. They do a fantastic job bringing these two to life in grand form. Always is Winter's story, a story of a great love and even greater loss. Our sweet Winter finds what every woman on planet Earth wishes to have when it comes to Love. Love comes in the form of Austin, our poetic actor, and all around swoony Austin. Winter and Austin find a story book, ooey gooey love and the world is sunshine, rainbows, and roses....... until it's not. After the unthinkable tragedy strikes, Winter must find a way to live with herself and the key word is live. Enter Cayden..... oh Cayden. And I refuse to give you anymore than that. Read The Book! I am heading now to One Click Book 2 in this magnificent Duet.

What made the experience of listening to Always the most enjoyable?

I think the narrators did an awesome performance with this book. They were able to put so many emotions into the book. Also, I loved how both of them were able to give distinguishable voices for the various characters.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Always?

The story was full of love, heartache and then a second chance. I do not like to give away spoilers of the book, but the night before the wedding was the turning point.

What does Tor Thom and Charley Ongel bring to the story that you wouldnt experience if you just read the book?

They delivered so many emotions one would not feel just by reading the book.
