You cannot be light on the outside, until you have light on the inside. Everybody in this world is either in the light or they are in the dark. Jesus came to die on a cross for our sins, to take care of the darkness of sin and death, and to come out of the grave three days later so He could be to us the light of the world. Is your flashlight on? If you have Jesus in your heart, your flashlight must be on!

Jesus clearly and carefully tells us in John 8 we will know THE truth. Not “a truth” or “some truth”, but THE TRUTH. If ultimate truth comes from God, it can never change because God never changes, and it can never be wrong because God is never wrong. The only way you will ever know the truth of God is to personally know Jesus, who is the true savior. Come to know Jesus personally today and experience first-hand THE truth that will set you free!

When you love God and you show your love to God by obeying His commands, Jesus plainly says this will lead to true fellowship with God. Nothing will make you feel more at home with Jesus than when you love Him by obeying Him.

We have confidence in the Father's hope of not just our spirit being deposited in His hands, but also of those same hands taking that spirit and placing it into a resurrected body that will love Him and live with Him forever. You can't be ready to live until you are ready to die, and you are not ready to die until you die in God's hands.

Jesus was forsaken to that we might be forgiven. He died for our sin that we might die to sin and not in our sin. Choose today to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior and know that in doing so you will die unforsaken. Accepting Jesus means you can one day leave the "Why God?" troubles of this earth and go to the "My, God!" grace of heaven.

One day, we are all going to leave our earthly family for our heavenly family. Make sure that you love your earthly family before you leave them for good. Jesus died on a cross so we could be a part of His heavenly family. We should love our earthly family the way Jesus loves His family because Family Matters!

When you look in a mirror, you will never see yourself the way you really are. However, when you look in the Bible and read what God says is true about you, then you will know who you really are. You hold the greatest position and are the most precious possession of the most important person in the entire universe. You are so valuable to God that He sent Jesus to die for your sins so you can spend eternity with Him in heaven!

When we do the right thing and are treated poorly, our flesh screams and wants what we believe we deserve. We’re born this way. Just observe children as one cries out when another takes away a toy. God knows this, and Jesus taught us how He wants us to respond. He said that when we find ourselves in this position that we should rejoice, because our reward is great in Heaven.

It’s easy to think we’ve got it all figured out. We see what we think is injustice and we believe that the wrong should be made right and the guilty punished. But most of us aren’t so quick to come to this conclusion regarding our own sins. We compare our wrongdoings to those of people who do things we consider to be worse, and we excuse our sin as if it shouldn’t count. But we’re wrong.

So many people are looking everywhere but in the Word of God for answers to life. They are doing everything except the will of God trying to find meaning in life. They are worshipping everything except the Son of God in everyday life. But there is no joy like believing the Word of God, doing the will of God, and giving your worship to the Son of God.
