Hey everyone – welcome to the long weekend! For a while, it looked like we might have a May long weekend with no rain. But alas-the forecast has morphed and as I write this, it is predicted that water shall fall from the sky. However, the space in which we shall gather (Sam’s Place) will be warm and dry, and the fair-trade coffee will be brewing. So if you get rained out, come to The Table. We’re here for you…

And if you come to The Table, you’ll experience not only the warmth of the space, but of the people. There will be opportunity to share any aspect of your story you wish to, or to keep your silence. We’ll do some musing about prayer (a continuation of the terrain we’ve been in the past couple of weeks), and we’ll sing a bit. In the Talky Bit, I’ll be making a further foray into the thought that prayer can be an important way to pre-figure the future, and in particular we’re going to practice creatively pre-figuring a better sort of wall than the one that has been in the news so much in the past months. It’ll be our little insurrection.
