Tower of Babble

After a short week off the guys are back at it with another busy episode. The Super Bowl took place over the weekend and with it came some impressive trailers for the years biggest movies. Garnering most of the attention was Solo: A Star Wars Story, as this was the first we've seen of the film with only a few months away from release. Of course there were also some great spots from Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, Avengers: Infinity War and Mission Impossible: Fallout. Julian, Dan and Jeremy break down each trailer and much more on this week's Tower of Babble Podcast!

It's not often that we talk about sports here at the Tower of

Babble, almost never actually. It's not really in our wheelhouse. That

being said, we do discuss entertainment here and what is sports if not

entertainment. So with that in mind, join Julian, Daniel and Jeremy in this

With the calendar having officially rolled over to 2018 it's only appropriate that we look back at some of the best games of the previous year. Julian, Daniel and Jeremy discuss some of their favourite games of 2017, including Horizon: Zero Dawn, Middle Earth: Shadow of War, Mario Odyssey and much more. Once the holidays are over things move quickly into awards season. Often considered the precursor to The Oscars, The Golden Globes are one of the year's biggest award shows. The ToB Crew is here to break down the results from this year's ceremony as well as touch on a few news bits that have surfaced in the new year.

It's time again for one of our favourite shows of the year. The episode where we talk about the best shows and movies that we saw in 2017. Previously it would have simply been called the "Best of 2017" but this year we would like to introduce you to "The First Annual Tobie Awards!", or "The Tobies" for short. It's essentially the same thing, we discuss our favourite shows and movies of the last year, but now it has a more official name. Join Daniel, Julian and Jeremy as they discuss the best of the best in what was a great year for both film and television.

Another year, another Star Wars movie. Last year we took a detour back to the days of The Empire with Rogue One, this year we return to the trilogy started by J.J. Abrams in The Force Awakens. This time it's Rian Johnson at the helm as Rey, Finn, Poe, Leia, Luke and more return for another instalment in the core Star Wars saga! A film that has turned out to be fairly polarizing among fans. Julian, Daniel and Jeremy give their take and break down every scene on what might be the biggest movie of the year.

The ToB Crew returns with another exciting episode of ToB Games. This week the guys discuss the continuing drama surrounding loot boxes as well as a few news bits out of PSX, including Dreams and Death Stranding. Afterwards, Julian, Daniel and, Jeremy look back at the Uncharted series as it celebrates its 10th anniversary. Uncharted has found a way to ingrain itself as one of gaming's most proud franchises and in turn deserves nothing less than the full ToB retrospective treatment for this milestone.

It's a movie that DC fans have dreamed about for years, and even though it had a tumultuous production, it's arrival remains a moment worth celebrating.
