Gratitude to God that finds His gifts pleasing, but Himself displeasing, isn’t a gratitude that glorifies Him.

Weekly corporate worship is an invitation to remember again that you are not in the center of your world and a welcome to worship the One who is.

We worship not to get right with God,

but because He has declared us right with Himself in Christ, & thus we can’t help but worship Him.

The depth of our worship will be dependent upon how brilliantly & beautifully we see Christ.

Unless you believe in hell, you will never know how much Jesus loves you. Hell is full of sincere, religious people, never born again, and heaven is full of immoral people who repented and believed in Christ.
