Today on Spanning the State Kristin and Brian discuss the recent uproar at Town Hall Meetings across the country. They explain the bizarre and outrageous town halls of citizens questioning their representatives of the acts of Elon Musk and President Trump in Oklahoma, Georgia, Florida and specifically in Idaho where a local citizen was arrested by unidentified individuals which made national news. They also discuss the onslaught of boos Wisconsin U.S. Representatives Glenn Grothman and Scott Fitzgerald received by attendees at this past week's meetings and how these actions have questioned the effectiveness of town halls and possibly the revival of the tea party. Later Kristin and Brian ponder the question if your local politicians should live in the district they are representing? They talk about two current candidates who are running for the vacant east side 3rd District Milwaukee Common Council seat, however one of the two, Alex Brower lives one block away from the area they would represent. They share their thoughts on how far is too far for a politician and what the state law says for certain elected officials. Then Birkenstocks are now NOT considered art according to a court in Germany. Kristin and Brian share which shoes they think could be considered "Art" and what they think about Birkenstocks shoes which almost made Brian lose a foot?
