You can’t make this up. 

The White House released a statement from President Biden proclaiming March 31st—Easter Sunday—as 2024 Transgender Day of Visibility. Biden bragged about his support for LGBTQ political goals and declared to the transgender community: “You are America, and my entire Administration and I have your back.”

And, of course: An explosion of controversy quickly ensued.

But there is a deeper reality here that conservatives—and Christians in particular—must recognize. Yes, all this was an affront to Christianity and to morality, to be sure. And yet, we should pause for a moment to recognize that, despite the best efforts of LGBTQ activists, the White House, and the cultural elites, it’s not working.

At the end of the day, biology trumps ideology and the very real damage done to human beings in the name of the transgender movement is increasingly undeniable—or I’ll put it this way—it’s not invisible.

President Biden may declare Transgender Day of Visibility, but he can’t make that visibility work as they intend.

It’s backfiring—and we know why.

There has been no accountability from all the so-called “experts” who handed down ruinous mandates during the Covid pandemic. But finally, the FDA has at least been forced to walk back some of the snarky misinformation it spread about ivermectin.

The agency will remove and never republish Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook posts suggesting that Ivermectin, an inexpensive medication some doctors used to treat COVID, is only for animals.

It’s happened thanks to three brave doctors, who sued the FDA for interfering with their right to practice medicine. Although the lower court dismissed the case, the Fifth Circuit Appeals Court reinstated it, noting “The FDA is not a physician.” 

Indeed it’s not. With that, the FDA settled the lawsuit and agreed to remove the posts.

No government agency has any business telling physicians how to practice medicine.

Let’s hope they’ve learned their lesson.

During Joe Biden’s presidency, a whopping 7.2 illegal immigrants have entered the United States. That’s a number greater than the population of 36 states.

But what’s really shocking is that the Biden administration has flown some 320 thousand of them from their home nations to ours—just in 2023.

Worse yet, every Senate Democrat opposed an amendment to stop this practice. That’s right: Every single Democrat in the US Senate voted to preserve the practice of using our tax money to hire charter planes to bring illegal immigrants into America. Not a single Republican did.

Both the president and the Senate Democrats should be ashamed. As disgraceful as it is to have destroyed our country's borders, it is even more brazenly lawless to actively facilitate the criminal behavior of illegal immigrants by flying them into our country.

Voters should remember on Election Day.

We tend to think of the resurrection of Jesus as only a religious event, with no political implications.

But Jesus was executed by the state as an enemy of the state. The debates about resurrection in first-century Judaism were intensely political. The Sadducees, defenders of the status quo, denied the resurrection. The more orthodox Pharisees affirmed it.

This makes sense.

Bible scholar N.T. Wright points out that states derive their power ultimately from their ability to kill people. By rising from the dead, Jesus conquered death, disarming that power. Christ’s resurrection was inherently—in the best sense of the word—revolutionary.

His victory gives men and women the courage to resist the Caesars, and the Kaisers and Czars of this world. The cross, the sword, the guillotine, the gulag and the firing squad do not represent the end.

The spirit of Caesar is still around, but more importantly so is the Spirit of Christ.

He is risen.  He is risen, indeed.

Something about not just the Democratic party but a part of America died along with Joe Lieberman’s passing this past week.  Senator Lieberman was one of the last national happy warriors—always fighting for his politics with a happy, cheerful, and willing countenance, never berating or slandering his opposition.

We couldn’t and didn’t agree with him on most things, but he represented a version of the Democratic party John Kennedy and the late New York Senator Daniel Patrick Moynahan would have a least recognized, a party today’s Democrats abandoned long ago—that’s why his own party primaried Senator Lieberman in his last campaign for Senate. 

He fought for decency in our culture, and joined conservatives like Bill Bennett, in scolding music producers who profited off filth, crime, and rape culture. He was a stalwart champion of our embattled ally, Israel  And he came to office with the support of his fellow-Connecticut resident William Buckley, and he leaves this life for the next with the love of a grateful people committed to his legacy of decency.

ESG is weaponizing your pension savings against Israel. A leftwing corporate activism clearinghouse called the Interfaith Center for Corporate Responsibility has been sneaking proposals onto the ballots of major American companies such as Marriott, Raytheon, Lockheed, and Amazon which attempt to pressure the companies to divest from Israel’s economy and disarm her. 

These proposals seek to deprive Israel of weapons, tech support and foreign capital. They also make bizarre references to Israel as an alleged apartheid state. This clearinghouse is funded by various investment funds which include those of the American Baptists, Methodists, Presbyterian, and Episcopalian denominations. 

If you are a member of any of these denominations, demand to know why they are supporting the Center. And while you’re at it, if you are an investor in any of those companies, make sure you vote against these proposals and their assault on the Jewish state. 

Do not allow your investment dollars to be used in the left’s desire to destroy Israel.

In an exclusive, Newsweek reports that the FBI has targeted Donald Trump’s supporters. It’s created a new category of so-called “extremists” to track: MAGA supporters.

No decent person condones the Capitol riots on January sixth of 2021. But since then, Joe Biden and the government class painted not just Donald Trump but also his supporters as a terror threat to our country. That’s wrong.

The FBI insists it doesn’t investigate ideology. But given its recent history —from investigating Catholic churches to the over-the-top treatment of abortion protestors and parents at school board meetings—it no longer deserves the benefit of the doubt. Especially when Antifa receives no similar treatment. 

For the first time in our nation’s history, supporters of a president’s opponent have been specifically singled out for law enforcement surveillance. 

It’s an ugly, dangerous and profoundly un-American precedent.

The U.S. has abandoned Israel at UN Security Council.

In demanding a cease-fire without conditioning it on return of the hostages, the UN Security Council just voted to vindicate terrorism, human-shield strategies, and hostaging in a breathtaking contradiction to the norms of conflict. Hamas initiated hostilities with the most barbaric large-scale planned operation of mass rapes, murders, pillaging, and kidnappings aimed at non-combatants. Rather than demand the return of those kidnapped and a surrender of war criminals as a condition of a cease-fire, the United Nations has instead put the onus on the aggrieved party to stop fighting a war it didn't start in the first place.

Joe Biden bears direct responsibility for this absurd attack on a key American ally. Biden had agitated for another UN Security Council vote. The US abstained rather than issue a veto, tossing several American hostages under the bus to help Biden regain popularity with progressives in the US.

The consequences of this craven betrayal will be felt for decades.

Vice President Kamala Harris recently went to Minnesota in order to make history, so the White House claimed. 

And she did make history, to be sure. She became the first U.S. president or vice president to visit an operational abortion facility. Harris’s move becomes the latest forward advance of the Culture of Death. 

It’s a turning point in the campaign strategy and the optics of the Democratic Party. Now that Harris, accompanied by Minnesota’s governor and a member of Congress, has made this campaign stop, such events will become standard fare for Democratic candidates. A wall has been breached and now any Democratic candidate who does not make a stop at an abortion facility will be considered out of step by both party activists and abortion advocates. That’s just how campaign strategy works.

The Vice President intended to send a signal. She did send a signal. 

Kamala Harris and her party are dead-set on making abortion central to American culture. That’s why Kamala went to the death camp.

At the State of the Union speech, President Biden claimed victory over inflation:

“I inherited an economy that was on the brink. Now our economy is literally the envy of the world.  Wages keep going up.  Inflation keeps coming down.  Inflation has dropped from 9 percent to 3 percent — the lowest in the world and trending lower.” 

Uh, not so fast. 

This is a classic case of how to lie with statistics. Yes, inflation is down from 9 percent, but that means it got as high as 9 percent! When Biden took the oath of office inflation was only 2 ½ percent. Then: It spiked all the way up to 9 percent, the highest in a generation. 

Now it’s a little over three percent. Let’s make it simple. Prices are 20 percent higher now than they were when he took office. It takes a dollar twenty to buy what used to cost a dollar. 

If we buy these lies again, your dollar is not going to buy much of anything soon.
