The terrorist attack on Israel started early Saturday morning, with a massive barrage of rockets and an invasion in the communities adjacent to the Gaza strip in the south of Israel. 

The massacres were barbaric and horrifying … defying the imagination. The death toll rises by the day.

We are at a moment of decision. We must stand with Israel in its right and responsibility to defend itself against murderous aggression intended to destroy the nation and kill Jewish citizens. 

A nation will only survive if it sustains courage and determination greater than the threats it faces. The lives and liberties of Israel’s people are threatened by a genocidal enemy that does not want to see the Jewish state weakened, but destroyed. 

Americans and others who love liberty and prize human dignity must know that Israel’s fight is our fight as well. 

Our deepest civilizational principles are also threatened by the rise and empowerment of terrorist threats.

The Israeli anger is both palpable and justified. 

We pray for the peace of Jerusalem. 

We stand with Israel.

What Hamas launched from Gaza last weekend should teach us all a lesson.

Palestinian terrorism, as far back as 1968, taught the modern world the use of hijacking civilian airlines and the targeting of schools and civilians. This history runs exceedingly close to home: Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.—the presidential candidate—saw his dad killed by a Palestinian, because of his father’s support for Israel. 

It’s time for a moment of truth. 

If a “start-up” nation were trying to model itself and its values based on America, it would look something very much like what Israel did 75 years ago this year.

But there are forces of barbarism that despise exactly that and would rather live in medieval fundamentalism than in a modern world with respect for human rights and human dignity. 

Hamas has demonstrated its willingness to maim and slaughter to attain their goals.

It’s a problem of evil that needs to solved once and for all.

Hamas needs to be defeated and destroyed.

The bodies had not yet grown cold before American elite media began shifting responsibility for this weekend’s barbarous attack by Hamas to Israel. In fact, Hamas terrorists were still in the process of killing, raping, and kidnapping civilians from Israel and other countries, including the US, when CNN analyst Aaron David Miller declared that the “real problem” would be Israel’s response to this barbaric war. 

Most of the American media followed suit, starting from the first hours of the reports. Most implied or said outright that this barbarity resulted from Israel’s supposed occupation of Gaza, from which Israel withdrew 18 years ago. 

The real problem of American media is that they choose sides—the wrong side—while claiming objectivity. This weekend, they circled the wagons around the Palestinians, Joe Biden, and almost two decades of failed policies that resulted in this war. Their shameful responses will get worse as Israel answers war with war.
Responsible media consumers ought to tune them out and turn them off.

Apple, inc. has a problem with political and religious viewpoint discrimination. It routinely takes positions on the hard left, deplatforms conservative web services and apps, and kow-tows to the Maoist dictators in China when they demand the company censor religious content in the app store. 

Well, the Christian ministry The American Family Association is fighting back by filing a proposal holding the company to account for its recurrent patterns of religious and political discrimination. Let them be an example to other Christian ministries and conservative non-profits. 

If a company you’re invested in is need of correction, use your power as a shareholder to put questions before the board and other owners. Too many conservative individuals and institutions complain from a distance while the power to effect change lies right there—in their investment portfolio.

There's a crime committed on Capitol Hill as October opens. 

10 alleged Republicans, led by Matt Gates of Florida, joined with every Democrat present to oust Kevin McCarthy from the job of Speaker. 

Geatz’s motive is said to be an effort to divert attention from his growing ethics scandal, and to raise money by grabbing airtime. 

McCarthy is the most effective speaker the Republicans have had since Mr. Newt. 

McCarthy notched a huge win over big-spending democrats and the President this summer, but the knuckleheads didn't want to win. They like losing, because losing means chaos and clicks. 

We want to thank Kevin McCarthy for decades of service. 

Inspired by Ronald Reagan to enter politics, McCarthy is one of the genuinely decent and widely admired elected officials in the town full of just the opposite. 

We hope McCarthy continues to serve all of the people he can and has done so for so long. 

We don't cut out a comeback from Kevin. He's always played the long game successfully. 

Some, if not all, of the 10 coupists will be purged by the GOP incrementally, and the GOP majority will continue to depend on McCarthy and his remarkable team for guidance and calm, effective, successful sage wisdom.

Dogs chase cars, but they can’t drive one even if they catch it. Matt Gaetz and seven other Republicans have the same problem. The eight dissidents cited the willingness of Speaker Kevin McCarthy to work across the aisle as a reason to remove him. They then joined every Democrat in the House to remove McCarthy as Speaker despite opposition from 210 Republicans.

They had no plan, no alternative strategy, and have left the caucus in chaos for no good reason. 

The next Speaker will get elected from the current leadership, all of whom supported McCarthy. Whoever wins will face the same problem McCarthy did—narrow control over the House while Democrats control the Senate and White House. Nothing will change for House Republicans.

Gaetz’ defenders claim that the “message” sent was worth the chaos. 

The only message this sends is that some 5 percent of the GOP want to burn down the House—and don’t mind partnering with Democrats to do it.

On Saturday, a man committed a crime in an attempt to obstruct Congress from considering a funding bill. Was this another “MAGA” activist of the kind pursued by the Department of Justice for the last two-plus years? No. It was Jamaal Bowman, Democrat congressman from New York, who pulled a clearly labeled fire alarm as his party complained about a rushed vote. 

Given the security risks involved, a large emergency response ensued, costing taxpayers thousands of dollars—but giving Democrats a little more time to caucus ahead of the vote.

This is almost literally yelling fire in a crowded theater. It’s a crime in DC that carries a potential six-month sentence. More importantly, it was a crime intended to obstruct Congress. Democrats have demanded severe punishment for Americans involved in the January 6 riot for the same action. 

Equal justice demands prosecution of Bowman for his criminal conduct. The House must also expel Bowman as a lesson to others. If they don’t, we’ll normalize and incentivize future fire-alarm stunts in highly charged debates.

The Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals has issued a stinging rebuke to the Biden administration. The court found that the Biden administration's pattern of pressuring social media companies to censor politically disfavored content violated the 1st Amendment. 

Musk opened the floodgates when he bought Twitter and released the records showing almost daily coordination between government and social media companies. When the feds and mega tech companies team up against a Stanford epidemiologist, such as plaintiff Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, for speaking the truth, it’s time to fight back. 

The lawsuit led by Missouri and Louisiana AGs, and The New Civil Liberties Alliance, assisted by an amicus brief from the Alliance Defending Freedom, successfully prevailed over a pattern which amounts to one of the worst violations of First Amendment law in American history. 
 
Congratulations to the plaintiffs, their counsel, but most of all to the American people, whose First Amendment rights were vindicated.

Constitutions in many countries talk about the concept of freedom of speech. What’s always set America apart is our dedication to free speech in practice.

Once, opposing censorship was a bedrock principle of liberalism. 

Organizations like the ACLU were founded on the premise that even hateful speech deserves protection.  

But times have changed. A Real Clear Opinion poll reveals that free speech is becoming a partisan issue, with Democrats more willing to allow government to regulate speech.

This is dangerous. If government decides what information we can access, it decides what we know—or, at least, what we have the opportunity to know. That’s the end of any country where the people are supposed to rule: for a democratic republic to function as intended, an informed electorate is indispensable.

Americans of all political stripes need to understand: the First Amendment protects the liberty of every citizen, regardless of party, regardless of the popularity of the opinion.

The Joe Biden presidency has careened from one disgrace and debacle to another – and voters have not just noticed, but are now rejecting Biden in droves. Even in two normally friendly media polls this weekend, Biden hit new lows on job approval and the economy.

That was not the worst of the news in the surveys, either. The Washington Post actually repudiated its own survey as an “outlier” when it showed Donald Trump with a ten-point lead over Biden. 

The NBC News poll had an even broader rejection of Biden. Seventy-four percent of all voters expressed significant concerns over Biden’s mental and physical health. Fifty-nine percent of all voters called those concerns “major,” clearly demonstrating that Biden has lost the confidence of a bipartisan majority of American voters.

Voters turned against Biden two years ago after his disgraceful abandonment of Americans and allies in Afghanistan. The longer they look at Biden, the less confidence they have in his leadership and even his basic competence.
