How our Executive Director's family viewed mold and how their perception changed after they witnessed what their daughter, Elizabeth, and her family went through. As soon as Dave and Deb saw their daughter and their 2 grand children get odd the plane, they new how serious mold was as they all looked sick and in very bad shape.

Kristina is a national trial lawyer who represents sick people against the companies that made them sick.  She founded Just Well Law to help clients recover financially so that they can rebuild their health and their lives. 
 
Kristina is used to high profile, high stakes litigation. At a national trial firm, she represented plaintiffs in bet-the-company cases like Trilogy against SAP, the Medical University of South Carolina against AstraZeneca, Ericsson against Samsung, and TiVo against Comcast.  These cases resulted in over $1 billion in revenue for their clients.  For TiVo, she led back-to-back trial teams of more than 20 lawyers to victories before the International Trade Commission, ultimately leading to nine-figure royalties. She was honored by her peers as a Texas Rising Star from 2015-2019.
 
As an Assistant US Attorney, Kristina then represented the United States in civil actions, including catastrophic personal injury. She defended Army doctors accused of medical malpractice, USPS drivers after catastrophic accidents, the Air Force in premises liability, and the VA and FAA in employment disputes. 
 
After tragedy hit her own family, she returned to the plaintiffs’ side and founded Just Well Law to help other families in crisis.  She built the personal injury firm she couldn’t find for her own family.  Health and wellness require financial resources, and Kristina is relentless in pursuing the maximum recovery for her clients because she has been there too.  ​
 
Kristina attended Princeton University and then Yale Law School. Committed to using the law as a tool of empowerment, she has helped people living with HIV/AIDS in Uganda find financial freedom, founded the domestic violence clinic at Yale Law School, and helped the Ministry of Justice of Liberia launch a sex crimes prosecution unit with the Carter Center.  She served as a federal clerk for Nancy Gertner in the District of Massachusetts. And she teaches trial lawyers as an instructor for the National Institute of Trial Advocacy.

Terri's Home flooded during Hurricane Harvey. Like many of the flood victims, they did not know how dangerous mold could be and how it could impact their health.  

Dallas Mom, Shelley Brandt thought she and her family were building their forever home. You would think a Home Builder would take care of their homeowners if it is discovered that the home they built was built incorrectly and causing moisture issues that would then cause mold problems. Shelley and her family spent 6 years fighting to recover the damages they endured due to the builders negligence. Now that their legal fight is over they are still fighting to recover all of the health problems they suffered due to the many toxic molds they were exposed to in their brand custom home. Shelley is one amazing and strong woman, wife and mother. She wants others to know how serious mold exposure is as well as how difficult it is to get your home fixed by your builder and the process they put you through.

Dr. Sara Riley is an amazing Chiropractor who now sees the connection of mold to how it relates to her own patients. She learned about mold from her own families mold exposure in her home. She touches on a little bit about how mold affected her son around the 18 minute mark and caused him to develop ticks. Due to her medical background she knew there was an answer to why her son all of a sudden started to have these medical problems. That's when she discovered and learned about mold and mycotoxins. She has now gone on to help many more people uncover the root cause to their medical problems, and helps them advocate for themselves. It is an honor to know Dr. Riley and to have her share this valuable information.

Emily studied Journalism in Austin, TX. before she found her passion in helping people build and or customize their perfect home. She loved everything about real estate, that is until she and her family became victims to their homes toxic indoor environment. 

Her family suffered greatly and lost their second son Malachi, whom this foundation is in memory of.  He inspires her to help people the way she wished someone could have helped them. 

She and her husband Josh, since their mold exposure, have dedicated their life to helping mold victims through their company Texas Mold Inspectors in the Houston, TX area. She is also one of the founders of Malachi’s Message and serves in the capacity as Board Chair.
