Ghostbusters, but not the Ghostbusters you're thinking of. We're talking about Filmation's Ghostbusters. The hit toy line from Schaper (TYCO) that suffered from a discombobulated cartoon. Listen up and get the history on this amazing toy line!

A quick rewind 31 years back to 1990 when Matchbox releases a fun collectable toy like called Monster in My Pocket. Spanning from the figures all the way to a NES video game, these were a hot commodity.

More and more monsters. Another spooky episode to talk about more Monsters. This week we rewind back to the mid-1970's and discuss the Lincoln International Monster line of Frankenstein, Dracula, The Mummy, The Wolfman, Phantom of the Opera, The Hunchback of Notre Dame and the Girl Victim.⁠

The year was 1980 and REMCO releases the first line of the Universal Movie Monsters. These guys made it from the movies to the toy shelves in many different sizes including rubber masks and many more over the years. This is how it happened.

Hasbro has done it again with a toy line that would be the basis of a 2 season cartoon in the late 1980's. With the C.O.P.S. team based in 2020, its nice to see what Hasbro thought the future might look like, sadly it just would never happen.

Remember when playing Rock, Paper, Scissors was just done with your hands and didn't have a whole story line behind it? Enter Battle Beasts in 1987, when you could let the little guys decide if you were Fire, Wood or Water!

When Mattel decides to import robots from Japan and put them all under one main toy line, you get Shogun Warriors. This week we learn how the Shogun Warriors line formed and evolved from die-cast to plastic and made it into the American homes.

More MOTU companion toys, but this time from the company that brought you Micro Machines; Galoob gives us Golden Girls and the Guardians of the Gemstones. A whole action figure line that *sorta* fits with your MOTU toys, but seems to be just a bit too tall.

Remember all those Happy Meal Toys you got when you were a kid, but have no idea where they are now? Yep, we talked more about some of the best Happy Meal Toys from the golden age of Happy Meal Toys. Those 1985-89, yep we got Cosmic Changeables this time!

Another trip through the REMCO lands of knock off MOTU figures, but this time for the bad guys. The Warrior Beasts were set to the be evil side of the Warlords but sadly this line would not last longer than a year.
