Toys For Games 'Cast - Collecting, playing with, and discussing toys-to-life

Josh and Jason #1 are back, and this week, they have a special guest ... JASON #2! You may know him as amiibo Jason, or @amiibonews, but we know him simply as "friend". While we talk about the ever elusive and always mysterious amiibo, we dive right in to the first thing to make Jason #2 excited that wasn't Nintendo since ... well, maybe the first time ever? Of course it's all about the official announcement of LEGO Dimensions, and all the news, speculation and predictions for the fourth franchise to officially be covered by the Toys For Games Cast.

We also tackle the Twitter #CommunityQuestion, and read some entertaining and thoughtful emails. Enjoy, fellow collectors out there!

(Special thanks to @sha_near for the music used for this podcast. I should have thanked him a while ago for it, but regardless, this podcast is better because of his work.)

After a huge day of news from Nintendo regarding upcoming amiibo, Josh AND Jason are back to bring you yet another podcast, this one featuring JUST amiibo talk. Sure, there are sales this weekend that apply to Skylanders and Disney Infinity, but everyone wants to talk about the current state of amiibo, right? Enjoy!

Josh flies solo and recaps all of the amiibo news from the April 1 Nintendo Direct, including wave 4, 5 and 6 of the Smash Bros. amiibo, Splatoon amiibo, Mario Kart 8 updates, the new Animal Crossing amiibo cards, and of course, the yarn Yoshi amiibo!

Josh and Jason #1 are back with another episode of the Toys For Games 'Cast. They make the most of this slow news week, as they talk about the rumors and speculation regarding amiibo in a possible Nintendo Direct, they run down the latest non-news of Skylanders, and of course, talk about the proverbial door still slowly closing on Disney Infinity 2.0. They also go to Twitter for the Community Question, and as always, read and answer your emails and questions!

Josh, Jason and Dan are ready to talk about collecting things NOT involving the normal Toys-to-Life franchises. This time, they jump head first into a pit of Tsum Tsums, chat about video game collector edition statues and robots, break down the most recent Loot Crate and answer a great question from the community.

Josh, Jason and Dan are back to talk about everything going on in the world of Toys-To-Life figures, and the trials, tribulations and moments of zen collecting them. They talk about the Wave 4 and Easter releases of Skylanders, the end of the road for Disney Infinity 2.0, LEGO Dimensions (MAYBE???), and of course, amiibo. They also review an app, dive in to the Community Question from Twitter and read some more awesome emails.

Josh and Jason were invited on as guests to the amiibo Newscast, hosted by @amiibonews aka amiibo Jason aka Jason #2. The three have some good discussions about amiibo, Nintendo and a couple of franchises sworn to remain nameless.

Regular co-hosts Josh and Jason are joined by a new, third member of the podcast, who oddly enough doesn't have a first name that starts with a "J". His name is Dan, and is ready to be a strong addition to the Toys For Games Cast ... but unfortunately, the Skype gremlins got the best of our dear Dan. In the meantime, the crew talk about the impending release of Skylanders Spring and Wave 4 characters, the amiibo wait-and-see game, a potential fourth franchise jumping into the game genre (LEGO), and Jason's overwhelming excitement about Disney Infinity news. Also, more Community Question responses via Twitter, some awesome emails and all the normal debauchery that hits your ears every week.

Josh and Jason have a very special edition of the Toys For Games Cast! This is the official Collector's Edition of the podcast, where they talk about a bunch of the random things they collect that DON'T have anything to do with Skylanders, Disney Infinity or amiibo. Do you collect Funko vinyl Pop! figures? What about Tsum Tsums? Possibly Hot Wheels? Well, if you have that collector's gene, this special edition is for you!

Josh returns and drags Jason #1 back into the co-host role, as they discuss the continued lack of news about Disney Infinity, the silence of Skylanders, the existence of the elusive Bunny Earth Trap, and the current rumors and speculation of amiibo as everyone sits around waiting for brighter days for collectors. They also read the Community Question responses and tackle some emails and questions as well.
