Nobody went in to this film with more trepidation than our team, and yet we find ourselves in the extremely odd position of coming away from the film that's taken nearly 9 years to get made...  pleasantly surprised?

The Flash continues the DC Universe's ongoing story (following on from Justice League, Black Adam and Shazam 2) and sends Ezra Miller's Barry Allen careening through tempestuous time-travelling shenanigans and into multiple multiversal messes. All the while the folks at Warner Brothers are desperately trying to work out how to reboot a universe, avoid a political shit-fight with a problematic star and still entertain a wide audience all in one film. Do they stick the landing? Listen in and find out!

Worlds collide when the Flash uses his superpowers to travel back in time to change the events of the past. However, when his attempt to save his family inadvertently alters the future, he becomes trapped in a reality in which General Zod has returned, threatening annihilation. With no other superheroes to turn to, the Flash looks to coax a very different Batman out of retirement and rescue an imprisoned Kryptonian -- albeit not the one he's looking for.
