Dewhurst has been named one of Africa’s and South Africa’s most inspiring youth for her
work; and has received countless awards from the likes of the South African
presidency, Prince Edward, Countess Sophie, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, The Obama Foundation and Lead SA.
In 2019, she was named Glamour Magazine's "Women of the Year" for her activism and in 2023, Dewhurst was voted a global "trailblazer and role model aged 35 and under" by Women of the Future.
