ALBERTVILLE — The Southwest Minnesota Christian/Edgerton 4x400-meter relay quartet was motivated. Highly motivated. The group had waited nearly a full calendar year to erase the painful memories of being disqualified during the 2025 Minnesota State High School League Class A state meet. This time, a more experienced foursome earned second place in the 4x400 finals in a scintillating new school-record time of 3:22.99 on Friday night at St. Michael-Albertville High School. “I was pretty excited for them,” SWC/E head coach Brent Van Schepen said.
