We're finally talking about Soft Cell on Track By Track, and celebrating 40 years of their debut album, Non-Stop Erotic Cabaret. This album is a favourite of our favourites, and includes their iconic cover of Tainted Love, as well as some hugely innovative original material. Soft Cell are back next year with their new album, *Happiness Not Included, and if we're lucky... Maybe we'll go track by track through it with them. We had a blast tweeting along to Alisha's Attic's debut album, Alisha Rules The World, with Karen and Shelly Poole last year, so how could we not celebrate 25 years since its release? With production from Dave Stewart, this collection features iconic hit singles and more experimental album tracks, from an act who were very much part of the Smash Hits crew, but always experimenting with their musical output.

Hard Feelings is the new project from Joe Goddard and Amy Douglas. Of course, we've talked about Joe numerous times on the podcast, for his work with Hot Chip and The 2 Bears, as well as remixing for others, and to deep dive into this album we were thrilled to be joined by someone who is as much a fan of Joe's as we are... Amy Douglas! Amy is a musical genius with an incredible career filled with collaboration, and she's also a bloody good laugh too.

If you're a regular listener of Track By Track you'll know we're HUGE Sea Fever fans, so much so in fact that their debut single, Crossed Wires, appeared on our Top 40 of 2020 before it was properly released as a single.

So we were thrilled to be joined by 3/5's of the band - Beth Cassidy (Section 25), Iwan Gronow (Johnny Marr) and Tom Chapman (New Order, Shadow Party) - to go through their debut album, Folding Lines, track by track. (The band is also made up of New Order's Phil Cunningham, and ShadowParty drummer Elliot Barlow.)
