Brian and Rich have reemerged for a new season to discuss the latest album release from one of their favorite bands, The War on Drugs: I Don't Live Here Anymore. After a brief Halloween discussion re: parental responsibility in screening kids' candy hauls and vomiting in Burger King bathrooms, the guys talk about their individual and joint experiences with The War on Drugs and reminisce on the band's incredible live performances. They then go song by song on I Don't Live Here Anymore, highlighting their favorite tracks and stand out moments. Does the album rank amongst "classic lunch fare" like PB&J or "Pizza Friday"? Only one way to find out: strap on your favorite guitar and grab your ottoman of a pedalboard and let's make a lunch out of it!

In episode 10 of the Track Lunch podcast, your fearless hosts plunge down the rabbit hole, exploring lyrics in popular music. Brian and Rich start by discussing the fairly recent memoir of one of their favorite artists (and lyricists), Mr. Elvis Costello: a man whose lyrics run the gauntlet of categories the guys aim to tackle. After an odyssey through various categories of lyrics and some psychologizing of Rich by Brian, the guys tackle the impact of various lyrics on popular culture through such legendary songs as the Eagles' Hotel California and The Beatles Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds. They then wrap things up with their snack packs and the promise of a forthcoming Spotify playlist featuring songs with their favorite lyrics. Grab a pen and notepad: let's make a lunch out of it!
...and we're back! After a few weeks off, your favorite podcasters are behind the mics once again to discuss the much anticipated return of live music. Brian and Rich start off by talking about some of their worst concert experiences and how "concert culture" might change for the better. They then transition into a discussion of how musicians/bands have adapted during the pandemic with live streaming ranging from a lone singer with an acoustic guitar in front of an iPhone all the way to full fledged productions of full band performances featuring professional audio and sound. The guys ponder how these may continue to coexist alongside traditional concerts as they return. Finally, Brian and Rich cap the podcast with some of their favorite concert memories and moments. Get ready to crowd surf a wave of spirited discussion...let's make a lunch out of it

The guys then get into the movie itself discussing the long process of bringing it to fruition as well as the cast and their favorite scenes. The pod finishes with a discussion of the movie's themes and message. So, don your favorite headphones, pour your favorite beverage, BEWARE OF SPOILERS and let's make a lunch out of it!
