Today I get to share a conversation with one of the most important people in logistics many of you have never heard of. Vice Admiral Andy Brown has controlled supply chain budgets and supervised staffs that seem preposterous to the anyone outside of the military. To him, it was just part of a job that spanned 38 years of a life dedicated to service to his country and to his fellow war fighter. I have been lucky enough to work with him while he has been the CEO of the NDTA. An organization that represents the interests of logistics firms in support of the US Military. I am incredibly fortunate to also call him my friend.
For all of the young men and woman attending or recently graduating from a Maritime Academy who are pursuing a careering in logistics, this is a conversation full of amazing advice from a good man with a career to back it up. I hope you enjoy this very special episode.
