The reconstruction project along I-696 through Oakland County is about to enter a major new phase. Crews are nearly finished rebuilding the eastbound lanes. Starting in mid-November, the westbound traffic will shift over to the new lanes. WWJ's Dan Jenkins spoke with MDOT spokesperson Diane Cross.
