God continues to show His character and heart by telling His people what it looks like to live a set-apart life.

Being made right with God has never been about what we do; it's always about who He is and what He has done.

As we continue studying the Law of Moses in Exodus, we're reminded that while the law is good, it cannot save. Its role is to reveal sin, not redeem us from it. That's why Romans 7–8 is so vital: it shows our deep need for rescue and the glorious truth that “the law of the Spirit of life has set us free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death” (Rom. 8:2). We are not saved by law-keeping, but by the Spirit who gives life through Jesus. The same Spirit who saves us now teaches us to walk in freedom.

Galatians 2:1–10 shows Paul defending the truth that salvation comes by grace alone through faith in Christ, without adding any human requirements. His meeting with the Jerusalem apostles affirms that there is only one gospel for all people, uniting believers in truth, freedom, and mission.

God cares about the ordinary day-to-day challenges confronting all of us in this fallen world. Hot on the heels of the ten commandments is this section of how the covenant community should live in less-than-ideal circumstances. Pastor Garret looks at Galatians 1:11–24 and explores Paul's radical transformation from persecutor to apostle, showing that the gospel he preached was directly revealed by Jesus Christ, not invented by man. This section of scripture calls believers to live out their God-given purpose—redeemed by grace, freed from people-pleasing, and sent to glorify God with their lives.

Galatians is one of the angriest letters in the New Testament. Adding anything to Faith and Grace diminishes the sacrifice of Jesus and Paul cannot believe how easily the Galatian converts are being drawn away into a false gospel.

"Meeting the Holy God" is not something we should take lightly. Pastor Garret explores how Exodus 19 connects the awe-inspiring fear of Mount Sinai with the radiant glory of Christ during the Transfiguration. These scriptures show how the Holy God invites His redeemed people into a relationship, not through fear, but through the grace of Jesus, our greater Mediator.

We all need a purpose that is greater than ourselves. When King David prioritizes his own comfort over God's purposes for his life, he becomes tempted and engages in sin. God uses Nathan to confront David's cover-up, leading to repentance and restoration.
