Gavin was there during the 2017 tornado cleanup in Papillion, but his first memory of that night was not hauling debris. He was down the street babysitting, trying to keep younger kids calm while the lights were out and no one fully knew yet what had happened outside.

From that starting point, the conversation moves into Gavin’s own growth journey — from being active but “scraggly” in high school, to making a deliberate decision before college to start working on his physical fitness.
