I’d like to begin this episode by acknowledging the land that I am learning and living on is the traditional un-ceded, un-surrendered territory of the Anishnaabeg Algonquin People.
In just one month, Trench Leadership: A Podcast From the Front, with me your host, Simon Kardynal, will be launching. In this podcast, we’ll explore the challenges and fears being faced by emerging leaders in all professions, providing tools, advice, and inspiration to help overcome these obstacles and live within their fears, making the fear a powerful tool for success.
I’ll talk about leadership life lessons, often using humourous, cringy-worthy, or heart-warming experiences and how I learned from them. For example, there’s the time I was being interviewed for the Canadian Armed Forces, "Mr. Kardynal, you are an immature little shit”. I’ll also be bringing in guest experts from various fields sharing their leadership lessons, such as Gill, a biochemist and podcaster, “When you tell people why..... they want to feel connected...", and I’ll also have roundtable discussions with large groups of people from diverse backgrounds where we’ll use our professional and personal experiences to help all emerging leaders build upon their leadership foundations, “I just really felt like I didn’t belong there”.
So, join me on Monday, July Twelfth for the launch of Trench Leadership: A Podcast From the Front as we begin the journey of helping emerging leaders build their leadership foundations.
I’m excited to start learning and leading with all of you. See you in one month!!!!
