Hello and welcome to the immersive psychiatry podcast. I'm Dr. Brandon Birckhead and I have been working on clinical studies using virtual reality since 2016. My goal for this podcast series is to illustrate the numerous ways this technology will impact healthcare using specific mental health related examples in each episode.

Hopefully, this will improve your understanding of the field and potentially inspire you to join the growing community of providers, developers and, researchers working with these kinds of computers to improve patient lives. I'll have the first episode ready in a week. I can't give a specific date when each episode after that will be released as I want to make sure each has enough evidence before I release them.
