Adam: Hello Vigil Listeners, I'm Adam Qutaishat, show creator and voice of Vigil and today I want to tell you about a show made by some great friends of mine over at Shoulder Knife. Who is Shoulder Knife, you ask? Great question. They're new to the podcasting game, but you wouldn't know it from their flagship show Live from Zarlof. An improvised newscast from the depths of space. As we all know, Earth has been captured by the Zarlofian Empire. So listening to Live From Zarlof, hosted by two rookie alien news anchors, Herc Dercules and Ron Spackman, as they unpack breaking news from across the stars with the help of their team of committed field reporters, is actually a requirement. Ron and Herc were both promised a newsdesk all to themselves, so there's definitely some tension. And the previous anchor disappeared under...mysterious circumstances.

Like great shows like Hello from the Magic Tavern or Voyage to the Stars, Live from Zarlof takes the hijinks of their episode to episode shenanigans and combines it with longform storytelling to keep you hooked on its goofy characters.
